Batley & District Gun Club operate the CPSA code of
practice of which all members must be familiar.
We encourage all members to have Hearing protection,Glasses and a Hat of some
Of special note:
The wood has free access through for the public and all consideration must be
shown for visitors on shoot days.
Guns should be Cased or open at all times when not shooting.
Dry pointing of the gun is not allowed.
Cartridges with Felt wads and 28g loads are used with a shot size no less then
a 7.5 No plastic wads are allowed as they litter the wood.
Shooting only allowed at designated stands within the confines of a cage.
Traps are only moved or adjusted be the set-up team.
The woods are in our care, any member witnessing fly tipping or abuse by mountain
bikes should inform the police and advise the committee.
